Technical Sales Engineer

Role
The role is to bring strong technical knowledge across all company product and services to UK key customers.
Building strong relations with customers by providing robust technical solutions to meet customer challenges in applications such as Well Intervention, Well Integrity, and Decommissioning where both reliability and cost-savings are of the highest importance.
Candidates must have strong technical background covering various disciplines such as packers & plugs, cementing systems, slot recovery and TCP, with experience and knowledge throughout sales-to-operations process.
The role will be built on company core values with a focus on optimizing technology solutions to deliver better wells by extending well life, maximizing well performance, whilst minimizing environmental impact.
Key responsibilities (not limited to):
This role will be required to:
Promote Health and Safety and Quality Assurance at work
Responsible for the internal & external sales process
High levels of customer interaction and relationship growth
Present and demonstrate products and services to customers and industry bodies.
Prepare technical & commercial proposals and quotes to customers
Attend daily customer meetings to ensure operations are aligned with customer requirements.
Conduct product line training on new technologies.
Drive New Technology sales and operational execution.
On-Duty technical support for offshore / Customer operations

Key outcome
Compliance with all Archer Core Values, Code of Conduct, process and procedures.
Active product and service sales and marketing.
Understand the market and communicate & follow up Clients opportunities.
Control - and communication of sales activity plans inclusive execution and achievements.
Accurate and current information for reporting purposes and data management.

Experience and qualifications
Appropriate Upstream Oil & Gas Sales and/or operations experience with a proven track record in sales.
Educated to degree level preferred, but not essential
Hold broad knowledge and experience (both technical and operational) of Oil tools
Excellent communication and presentation skills to be able to explain the benefits of our products or services to potential customers
Strong teamwork skills

There may also be a requirement to visit and work at other company locations.
