Cost Controller
Job Description
Support accounts and finance functions
Establishment, maintenance and reporting of project budget / forecasts on an agreed, regular basis (weekly / monthly / quarterly)
Regular liaison with all relevant stakeholders to ensure accuracy of financial data
Interpretation, preparation and presentation of cost reports as required
Provision of support and assistance to project teams with upkeep of estimates, forecasts, budgets and spreadsheets, with relevant parties kept informed as required
Develop, maintain and educate users on cost control processes and procedures
Facilitate interfaces between relevant departments as required (such as during development of AFEs, spend requests etc.)
Support the Financial Controller in the implementation of improvement initiatives as required
Other related duties as required
You are meant for this job if
Proven record of achievement in a similar operationally/ commercially focused finance role
Prior in a similar role within the energy industry
