Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Establishing, monitoring and reviewing the cost estimate preparation process to ensure that proper methodology is being used.
Developing, populating and following Corporate cost estimating methodology and guidelines.
Ensuring project scope covered and alignment between the cost estimate and the project schedule and execution strategy.
Participating actively in the Quantitative Risk Assessment to support the contingency process.
Coordinating and maintaining the benchmarking analysis and estimating database.
Participating in Commercial Contract Evaluation
Ensuring proper handover of estimated costs to cost control and final project estimating data.
Assisting in the change order or trends calculation and/or validation and supporting the preparation of cost estimates for change orders.
Reconciling previous approved estimate versus current approved.
Maintaining document trail to facilitate internal audits of critical commercial internal control systems.
Maintaining project cost estimate documentation and data preservation procedures.
Significant cost estimating experience of large projects or multiple small projects in Upstream Projects
Proficiency in use of cost estimating and cost control software.
Knowledge of Project Controls, Cost Engineering, Planning & Scheduling.
Demonstrable ability to develop reports and presentations to management
