FINANCE & CORPORATE SERVICES TEAM LEAD
Key Objectives:
To ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the finance and corporate service to support the client
Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the finance and corporate services team which covers everything from facilities to IT, HR and everything in between
Support the senior team by facilitating the delivery of the strategic and business plan in line with relevant processes and procedures
Support the Finance and Corporate Services Director by compiling month end data and preparing first draft monthly management accounts
Offer guidance, training and advice to the finance and corporate services team and the broader team
Ensure value for money is achieved when purchasing on behalf of teams
Be proactive with credit control to ensure our services are paid for on time
Actively chase debts and issue letters and court proceedings as necessary
Be passionate about customer service
Help to develop, improve and streamline systems and processes
Contribute to the development of the client by suggesting ideas that improve customer service, internal communication and ways in which the organisation could work more effectively
Such other tasks as might be appropriate, advised to you from time to time.
Essential Experience:
Extremely numerate with excellent finance and accountancy skills
An advanced Excel user
Experienced in people and project management
Organised and diligent with an excellent attention to detail
A highly motivated self-starter with an outstanding work ethic
A customer service champion for internal and external customers
A good communicator with strong negotiation skills
