INTEGRITY ENGINEER (6-12 MONTH CONTRACT)
The position of Integrity Engineer will contribute towards and be responsible for the efficient and cost effective execution and maintenance of Asset Integrity.
The position will act as an integrity focal point, coordinating integrity related operations across all aspects of integrity management; Pipelines, Pressure Systems and Structures in accordance with the Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS). Acting as integrity focal point, this person will provide technical support for daily operations.
The position will also ensure the management of Operated UK Asset’s appointed integrity consultants and contractors, facilitating their operations to guarantee their fulfilment of allocated tasks and activities.
Main duties & responsibilities:
Accountable for the:
Content and update of all integrity related databases and dashboards
Assurance that all personnel working within integrity function are compliant with AIMS
Management of the integrity budgets
Performance of the integrity management contractors (IMC) and consultants in line with their contract requirements
Day-to-day management and coordination of integrity / inspection workscopes including but not limited to weight control, pressure safety valves, inspection activities, corrosion management KPI’s and fabric maintenance
Ensuring integrity services delivery is efficient and effective
Management of AIMS related documents and records
Reporting integrity risks to Operated UK Asset’s management
Monitoring of performance against corrosion management KPI’s
Management and ownership of the 5 year and 10 year Integrity Plan
Monitors and reviews inspection & maintenance plans produced by integrity Management Contractor
Alignment of RBI plan with Maintenance Management System (Maximo)
Completing an annual fabric maintenance plan
Completing annual Asset Integrity reports
Ensuring continuous engagement with integrity contractors and consultants
Facilitating asset integrity meetings as detailed in the AIMS
Represent the client in cross-industry Asset integrity improvement programmes
Approval of the RBI scheme and associated written schemes of examination as provided by the IMC
Reviewing and approving inspection reports and anomaly reports produced by Inspection teams, prioritizing and maintaining records of completion and close-out
Reviewing MoC changes for Asset Integrity implications
Provide technical support to projects and Brownfield Modifications
Maintaining and updating key procedures that contribute to safe management of integrity
Working with Safety Critical Element holders in order to maintain performance standards
Working as a team with the Materials Lead, Production Engineer, Mechanical and Maintenance Engineers and any other parties to maintain safety and asset integrity in the most productive manner
Audit and monitoring of the OIE’s workload and performance
Required Competences/ Qualifications / Experience / Profile:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject is essential. A Masters in a subject related to the technical discipline would be desirable.
Significant experience in an integrity role.
UK offshore survival training, offshore medical and MIST qualifications.
Proactive approach to maintaining safety and minimising costs.
Knowledge of risk-based inspection procedures and relevant codes such as API RP579, DNV RP G103
Demonstrable understanding of NDT techniques and their limitations as used for offshore inspection.
Be able to demonstrate commitment to safety and leading by example.
Knowledge of relevant technical databases for Asset Integrity Management such as PIMOptimum, Xamin, ACET, Coabis, Credo, etc. is desirable.
Working knowledge of Maximo.
Knowledge of relevant Structural tools such as STAAD and SACS is desirable along with an understanding of weight management.
Experience or understanding of several of the following areas: finite element analysis, materials selection and performance, corrosion management, fitness for service, blasting and painting standards, fabrication defects.
