Duties & Responsibilities
As Integrity Engineer your main duties and responsibilities will include:
Responsibility for the effective provision and operation of inspection systems and services to the allocated installation to ensure that plant and equipment is certified in accordance with Company procedures, strategies and legislation ensuring feedback of results to Asset Management Team. Responsibility for maintaining positive communications with Onshore and Offshore Asset Management Teams and Client. Supervise Integrity Management Contractor in line with direction from Senior Integrity Engineer.
Ensure Regulatory and Company standard compliance.
Support Senior Integrity Engineer in managing asset Integrity contactor to ensure contractual integrity service deliverables are met.
Support Senior Integrity Engineer in management of Integrity Contractor providing assurance on technical delivery and cost management.
Accountable for the production and ongoing management of the asset Annual Topsides Inspection Plans.
Assist in the development of appropriate annual budget and manage the CTR (Cost, Time & Resource) process with Asset Integrity Contractor
Responsible for assessing the suitability and technical content of the Integrity Management Written Schemes for Topsides Pressure Systems.
Accountable for the technical content and scheduling of the Asset’s inspection plans for Topsides Pressure Systems
Accountable for liaising with the asset Planner to ensure timely execution of the defined inspection plan, co-ordinating with Asset Team as required.
Accountable for implementing the Company Anomaly Management Process, including reviewing, assessing and recommendations from inspection anomalies and failures for pressure systems.
Assist with the implementation of Integrity Risk Based Inspections assessments
Accountable to ensure effective data management and visibility within CREDO.
Responsible for inspection / integrity input to platform Turnaround (TAR) Programs.
Provide support to the Fabric Maintenance Engineer to ensure suitable risk based fabric maintenance plans exist.
Responsible for compliance with relevant Company Procedures, Strategy Documents and Safety Management System (SMS) documents.
Maintain appropriate level of contact with Asset Team and 3rd Parties to ensure an effective Inspection Integrity Management (ICM) service.
Review and Endorse Certificates of Examination to ensure follow up corrective work orders are raised
Actively pursue the cost-effective application of new non-invasive techniques and specialist technologies to limit intrusive inspection where applicable.
Provide guidance and direction to the Integrity Management Contractor personnel for the effective execution of the contract.
All work to be carried out in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
Degree in Engineering related discipline or appropriate Industry qualifications such as API 510 and API 570. Lesser qualifications will be accepted provided exceptional experience in inspection engineering can be demonstrated.
Extensive experience in the field of plant and equipment in-service inspection.
Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of design, manufacture, materials, corrosion, welding, codes, standards and legislation associated with the in-service inspection of plant and equipment.
Must be familiar with QA/QC practices, NDE techniques and RBI.
Able to generate a team approach to problem solving and an excellent communicator.
