We are currently recruiting for a permanent Production Supervisor to work a 3 on 4 off rotation on our client’s North Sea FPSO.
The Production Supervisor / Production Lead is responsible for directing and co-ordinating the daily activities of the production team and to support the delivery of health, safety and environmental standards, Technical Integrity Standards and company Corporate Management System
Key duties include;
Administration of the Production Department on a day to day basis and informing the Production Superintendent of all developments.
Ensuring that all staff including contractors, have adequate information to carry out tasks safely and efficiently, in compliance with control measures and site safety precautions.
Reporting incidents and non-conformities.
Acting as Area Authority (Production) for the electronic permit to work system.
Managing and controlling isolation/de-isolation certificates and complying with company isolation policy. Adequate records must be kept and updated as required.
Monitoring and controlling mechanical and electrical long term isolations. Adequate records must be kept and updated as required.
Controlling key lockout box system. Log must be kept up to date.
Supporting in the resourcing and development of production personnel.
Supporting and ensuring production personnel reach required standard of competency.
Ensuring commitment to the Technical and Operation Integrity Standards for all topside operating and services works completed by production personnel.
Contributing to the creation and maintenance of operational budgets and provision of monthly forecasts.
Providing clear and concise communication of priorities to relevant personnel, including team meetings, handovers and information on targets and performance Being a member of emergency response team as directed.
Ensuring proper, verbal and written, handover during shift change and end of trip.
Knowledge of Maintenance Management System (MMS) along with the ability to input/extract data as required.
Maintaining Production Department Maximo inputs and managing same on a regular basis.
Raising Material Requisitions for the ordering of spare equipment and confirm the correct delivery.
Maximising production whilst ensuring safe and efficient operation of process and utility systems within the installation Safety Management System and to the standards demanded by regulatory authorities.
Overseeing the monitoring and control of process equipment, sub-sea via the DCS and other panels.
Ensuring the safe and efficient operating of the process facilities and to direct CROs and Production Technicians.
Starting up and operation of separation facilities, water treatment plant, gas compression and utilities.
Monitoring the correct function of process equipment and instrumentation.
Communicating of deficiencies and malfunctioning of the process plant to the Production Superintendent.
Providing advice on chemical rates through liaison with the onshore Process Engineer or designated vendor.
Laboratory work and production chemical handling, together with stock control of same.
Investigating the cause of trips and provision of feedback to the Production Superintendent to assist with production loss reporting.
Monitoring and control of inhibits and overrides and their auditing.
Experience and qualifications;
Experience as Production Technician on offshore production or onshore petrochemical plants.
Experience on DCS operations as Control Room Operator
Experience at supervisor level
Experience work on an FPSO
Approved Awarding Body Certificate Chemical Engineering/Process Operations
