Our client an oil and gas company is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect for a permanent position based in Aberdeen with hybrid working in place.
The role requires an experienced Enterprise Architect to shape the future of our enterprise technology landscape, ensuring our systems, data and infrastructure enable business growth while maintaining the highest standards of security, resilience and performance.

This is a strategic leadership role with responsibility for defining and delivering the enterprise architecture vision across the organisation. You will develop technology roadmaps, establish architecture standards and provide technical direction that supports both current operations and future ambitions.
The role offers significant scope for Empowerment & Accountability, with responsibility for technical governance, vendor partnerships and architectural assurance across major programmes and business change initiatives. You will balance innovation with pragmatism, ensuring technology decisions support operational integrity and regulatory compliance.

Leadership & Responsibilities
Define and drive the enterprise architecture strategy, standards and technology roadmap.
Provide architectural leadership and technical assurance across major business and technology initiatives.
Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing architecture function.
Engage and influence senior stakeholders, translating business requirements into effective technology solutions.
Govern technology risk, resilience, security and architectural compliance across the enterprise.
Build strong partnerships with suppliers and technology vendors to maximise performance and value.
Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience in an Enterprise Architect or senior architecture leadership role.
Broad technical expertise across applications, data, integration, cloud and infrastructure environments.
Strong experience developing technology strategies, roadmaps and governance frameworks.
Demonstrable people leadership experience, with a focus on coaching and capability development.
Knowledge of recognised architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, or equivalent experience.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
