Our prestigious Client, one of the largest multi-energy Companies in the world are currently looking for an experienced Project Delivery Manager - EV Charging to join their team on a temporary contract based in London. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: -

This role spans the full project lifecycle of on street EV charging infrastructure, from early-stage feasibility and pre-construction through to live highway delivery and handover.
The successful incumbent will work closely with local authorities, DNOs, ICPs, designers, and delivery partners to ensure sites are fully designed, permitted, and construction-ready before progressing into installation. The Client’s network is a network that serves B2G and B2B customers by providing them with reliable electric charging capabilities across London. The current strategy is to deliver a London network up to 10,000 CPs to serve the Greater London and its neighbouring counties.
- Manage borough and local authorities’ interactions from site identification to handover to operations
- Assist the borough with site identification and selection
- Validate site viability (Power/Cost/Usage)
- Lead site configuration and validate design and drawings
- Support boroughs with delivery of all consultations
- Manage street works permitting, traffic management planning, and programme sequencing ahead of installation
- Lead progress meetings, manage reporting, and proactively resolve on-site and logistical challenges
- Manage the contractors during the delivery and ensure they comply to Safety guidelines, their agreed planning and promised quality.
- Ensure timely and complete application for all subsidies, incentives
- Secure the licences from the local authorities
- Support tender team with valuable insights and review of documents.
- Safe and reliable charge point installation.
- CDM compliance
- Contractor compliance to TE requirements.
- Stakeholder relationships - include the local authorities and their representatives.
- Quality and geographically balanced Installation pipeline
- Statutory compliance of delivery.
- Always Adhere to all HSE legislation and Company Policies and Procedures
- Upto200-300 B2G installations a year (AC&DC)
- Up to 20 B2B installation a year (AC&DC)
- Senior relationships with up 24+ boroughs
- Charge point installation Project Plan
- Project Management with Civil Engineering experience dealing with Utilities and street furniture management is a prerequisite to apply for this role.
- NRSWA Site Supervisor accreditation preferable
